Post Minor's Index: Love it!!
Knowing Kyle Minor personally makes today's Queer Eye article, Rob Liefeld's Avengers Volume 2, #1, that much more hysterical. I can picture him reading it out loud.

When are you going to make it back to San Diego, Mr. Minor? We miss ya!

I don't know Mr Minor, but I found it pretty funny, too.
And I haven't even read the comic :)

I've been spared the anguish of having to read this book, too, but I'm familiar enough with Liefeld's ouvre as it is.

There's an EXCELLENT drubbing of Liefeld for his Captain America series on the not-to-be-missed Gone and Forgotten. Once you start reading GAF, you can't stop. (Unless of course you've read them all and are waiting with bated breath for the next installment.)

The GAF author also has Cap refer to the high cheekbones: "I've got cheekbones like a supermodel with a bookshelf built on her face."

I hadn't read that GaF instalment.
I'm sooo glad I stopped reading superhero comics before the advent of Image.

That was funny. I pretty much avoided those comics, but I heard about Liefeld's inconsistent art. The part about the swords was probably my favorite. Still, one can’t help but to wonder what was wrong with Liefeld when you look at that shot of the Enchantress. Barbie has more realistic proportions.

And what's up with Thor's arms? I've seen some pretty vascular muscle dudes, but none of them ever had a star pattern erupting from the center of their biceps!

And the hair! Did he just get electrocuted, or what?

Hey... everyone knows that bluish-grey "amber" causes the worst split ends.
