by Justin Hall and Ted Abenheim, posted April 15th, 2007 [Print-ready Version]
APE - the Alternative Press Expo - takes place on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 in San Francisco. APE, which is run by the fine folks who put on the San Diego Comic Con and Wonder Con, is geared towards independent creators and publishers. It's very LGBT friendly, and there will be LOTS of LGBT comics creators present.
The Expo is held at The Concourse, 620 7th Street, San Francisco. Hours are Saturday, April 21 (11:00am - 7:00pm) and Sunday, April 22 (11:00am - 6:00pm).
PRISM will be "representing" with a table at APE and appearances by Justin Hall, Jeff Krell, Tommy Roddy and others. We will also be premiering the "hot-off-the-press" LGBT GUIDE TO COMICS 2007!!!
And there will be two queer comics events happening that weekend:
