Continuing Gay Comics Month on Strip! on Resonance FM, Alex Fitch talks to the winners of last year's Prism Gay Press Grant—Justin Hall and Tommy Roddy—about their comics Glamazonia: The Uncanny Super Tranny and Pride High, respectively. Glamazonia tells the tale of a transgender super-heroine fighting mythical creatures, serial killers and old-fashioned superhero origin stories while Pride High is a hipper version of the X-Men which allows the gay characters of a superhero school take center stage, while dealing with issues of oppression and mortal enemies.
The show airs on Thursdays at 5pm, repeating on Sundays at 11.30pm on Resonance 104.4FM in London and streaming at resonancefm.com. Individual half hour edits of the two interviews will be broadcast after transmission at panelborders.wordpress.com and podcasts.resonancefm.com.
UPDATE: The show has now been posted and is available here.
