Sina Grace Signs Gay Sorcercer Sleuth book, Cedric Hollows in Dial M for Magic, This Saturday in San Diego!
posted May 7th, 2009 [Print-ready Version]
On Saturday, May 9th at 4pm, Sina Grace will be at Mysterious Galaxy Books’ Sweet Sixteen Birthday Bash in San Diego for a reading and signing of his latest work, Cedric Hollows in Dial M for Magic. Mysterious Galaxy Books is located at 7051 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, Suite #302 (858/268-4747).
“There ain’t no tonier way of ‘Getting Your Wizard On’ than stepping into the hard-boiled world of the intrepid Cedric Hollows,” says Amber Benson (Death’s Daughter, Buff the Vampire Slayer). “This is way too much coolness for one story.”
Set in the OC, here is the description from Sina’s blog: When Newport Beach royalty call on Cedric for his occult expertise regarding a family murder, he finds he’s bitten off more than he can chew. The assailant, known only as The Dark Mage, stumps the wizard detective at every turn, and time is running out before another victim falls prey to his wicked hand.
Filled with moments of irreverent humor and evocative storytelling, Cedric Hollows in Dial M for Magic reveals an outrageous, genre-busting work that gives Orange County its very own Phillip Marlowe.
