Howard Cruse, Jennifer Camper and Ivan Velez Appear at Bluestockings Bookstore in NYC!

Howard Cruse caps his visit to NYC with an appearance tonight (Friday, June 18, 2010) with Jennifer Camper (Rude Girls and Dangerous Women) and Ivan Velez, Jr. (Tales of the Closet) at Bluestockings Bookstore in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Howard is in town to promote the recent publication of the 15th Anniversary Edition of his classic Stuck Rubber Baby.

All three comic artists will present a group slideshow and discuss their influences, their approaches, and the impacts of counterpublic communities on popular media. The appearance starts at 7pm with a $5 suggested donation.

Bluestocking Bookstore is located at 172 Allen Street (between Stanton and Rivington). Call 212/777-6028 for information.
