Hazel Newlevant, our latest recipient, is debuting her queer press grant funded book "If this be sin" at the following conventions this year:

APR 26 Brooklyn Zine Fest

Hazel's bio:

She is a cartoonist attending the School of Visual Art who has drawn and published many mini-comics, including the Xeric Award-winning Ci Vediamo. Her work was recently honored with the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant. She has worked for Top Shelf and Dark Horse Comics, and is currently the co-lead editor of the digital comics magazine INK. She has been known to DJ for WSVA Radio. She likes to dance around, alone or with others.
