Bio: Sean Seamus McWhinny is a cartoonist and writer living in San Francisco. He does a weekly online comic strip called Diary of a Catering Whore, updated every Tuesday. It's based on his experiences as a catering waiter/bartender in high society in San Francisco. Fortunately, or at least at this moment in time, the catering world is behind him.
He also has a work-in-progress story called Head Trip about his father's Alzheimer's.
Currently, he works in animation production and freelances. He is at work on a graphic novel about his experience as a mall Easter Bunny.

Prism Comics, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization supporting LGBT comics creators and fans, unveils an exciting slate of events for WonderCon, the Bay Area's pre-eminent comics and pop-culture consumer convention. The Prism folks have been busy over the summer and fall with bar events, book fairs and comic conventions. Pictures have finally been posted on Prism's Flickr page from HARD HEROES 2008, an annual fundraiser in Los Angeles. Super heroes and villains abounded along with creators Aman Chaudhary, Michael Derry, Scott Mullens, Brad Rader, Michael Troy and Sean-Z. Going APE! DC did it many years ago. Marvel’s doing it now. And PRISM COMICS is doing it on November 1 and 2 at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco. APE is the baby brother to Comic-Con featuring independent and small press comics and creators. It’s a very friendly, low-key Con that brings together a wonderful community of LBGT and LGBT-friendly creators and fans. The Expo takes place at:
