Bio: Dale Lazarov is best known as the writer/editor of NIGHTLIFE , drawn by Bastian Jonsson, MANLY , drawn by Amy Colburn, and STICKY , drawn by Steve MacIsaac, both published by German art book publisher Bruno Gmünder Verlag. His collaboration with erotic artist Drubskin, "The Welcome Back Fuck", was featured in Best Gay Erotica 2007.
Besides NIGHTLIFE>, STICKY and MANLY , Dale's busy collaborating with illustrators on several forthcoming titles of gay erotic comics: with David Dembowski on GOOD SPORTS, Laura "Zel" Carboni on FAST FRIENDS, Chas Hunter on BULLDOGS, Bastian Jonsson on NIGHTLIFE 2, with Delic Van Loond on FANCY, Foxy Andy on CHUMS, and Mioki on POWER POP BOYS.
Dale's dream is to be the Stan Lee of a line of chic hardcovers of man-on-man erotic comics full of carnality and sweetness. Dale currently lives and works in Chicago.

At Comic-Con, Prism Comics presented a panel on the Queer Press Grant (QPG), announcing that the deadline for the grant has been pushed up to September 15. So get your application together now! The QPG was established to encourage the publication of more (and more and more) comics with LGBT characters and themes.

In anticipation of next month's deadline for submissions for the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant, we're going to run some spotlights on previous recipients. Steve MacIsaac was awarded the QPG in 2005, the first year that it was offered, for Shirtlifter #1, and Justin Hall was the co-recipient, along with Tommy Roddy, in 2007 for Glamazonia the Uncanny Super Tranny. Hall has since joined the Prism Board as the Talent Relations Chair, and now helps manage the Queer Press Grant program.
