Former Artistic and Creative Director of Spanish animation studio Sopa de Sobre.

Illustrator of numerous children's books in Spain, the U.S., and elsewhere, including Fur, Fangs, and Footprints: A Collection of Poems About Animals, The Free and the Brave: A Collection of Poems About the United States, Cobwebs, Chatters, and Chills: A Collection of Scary Poems, and Recess, Rhyme, and Reason: A Collection of Poems About School.

Comics work include the forthcoming color graphic novel Mixed Blessings (Germany: Heinz und Horst Verlag) and the black and white comic series A Coffin for Two (US: NBM Publishing), as well as the short story "The Anniversary" in Juicy Mother 2 (US: Soft Skull), all with scripts by Lawrence Schimel.
